Years of working on projects dictated by designers, art directors and private clients taught me to listen. I developed and realized the ideas of some exceptionally creative minds by helping them to achieve work they wanted but needed a particular skill-set they lacked. This trained me to evaluate and anticipate, not only the end result, but to fine tune the process involved in facilitating their vision.

The extent of my work is a product of my curiosity about the world I have lived in. From where I grew up, to the places I've visited and the people I've encountered, I am always conscious of my environment and my presence in it. I am intrigued by people, drawn to them and to their back-stories. There is nothing greater or more powerful than connecting with other people and their cultures to inspire your art. Whether it is fascinating subject matter or just the right light cast on a distant scene, I sketch it immediately or photograph it as scrap stock to use in a later project.
